Sarah joined Anthem as a sales executive in the summer of 2004 to work on the launch of Italia! magazine. She has worked on every issue since, building a name for herself in the Italian property and holiday markets and achieving promotion to Advertising Manager of the title. "What do I like about working at Anthem? The fact that I’ve always had an influence over the direction and content of the magazine; that we can go from idea to decision and action really quickly; that there always seems to be room for growth in my role; and that I get to use my Italian all the time and even get the odd free holiday over there!"
Sarah also manages Taste Italia and in 2010 brought our Italia! Guide and Taste Italia Collection launches to market.
University or college Work Placement
Are you at university or college and would benefit from a work-experience placement with Anthem Publishing? Then get in touch –– we offer one- or two-month placements where you can learn about the publishing industry by being fully immersed in it, working alongside the Anthem staff as they go about creating and selling the company's titles. Multimedia Developer WantedFull-time position
Anthem Publishing is recruiting for a Multimedia Developer.
This is a key position within the company helping to develop and maintain our websites and electronic communication including social media and email.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to maintain the company's various web presences and assist with advertising banner creation/deployment, generate the interface to our multimedia DVD that accompanies Music Tech magazine each month, as well as assist with the updating of magazine websites using our proprietary content management system.
Working to strict deadlines alongside our Multimedia Editor, Editors and Art Editors, you will be fully conversant with multimedia DVD authoring using either iShell, Director or Flash, have excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP, and be fully aware of the compatibility requirements of both Windows and Mac OSX. A working knowledge of SQL and Photoshop would be advantageous.
