Jon began his career as a Marketing Executive with Condé Nast and NatMags distribution company COMAG in 1991, before moving into a circulation-management role with Future in 1993. This period gave Jon a detailed understanding of the magazine-distribution market at a time of dramatic change, characterised by the rise of supermarkets. In 1996 Jon moved into the role of Publisher, where he developed Computer Arts into the world’s biggest-selling creative magazine – in the process spawning a whole new market sector – and launched the internationally successful Computer Music. He later became a Group Publisher, running Future’s music and entertainment divisions, before leaving to set up Anthem Publishing in 2002. Jon’s role at Anthem includes circulation, subscriptions and hands-on publishing, as well as driving the overall development of the company.

Paul entered the world of magazine publishing when he joined Future Publishing in 1993 as Staff Writer on PC Format magazine. He quickly worked his way through the ranks to become Editor of gaming title Arcane and then, in 1997, he became Editor of T3 magazine – the enormously successful gadgets and lifestyle magazine. After a stint as Publisher of several computing magazines, including MacFormat, and launching 3D World, he published T3 and Hi-Fi Choice before leaving Future Publishing in 2001. He formed Anthem Publishing with co-directors Jon Bickley and Simon Lewis and is currently responsible for launching and editing titles at Anthem – right now he’s enjoying exploring his passion for Italian food and wine with Taste Italia, Anthem’s most recent magazine launch.

Simon has over 25 years of media experience having worked at a senior management level in regional press, commercial radio and consumer magazines. Before launching Anthem Publishing with his two co-directors, Simon was Group Advertising Manager at Future Publishing, responsible for a group of 20 consumer titles including Guitarist, SFX and Computer Music, as well as a number of craft titles. Simon's current role involves managing all aspects of Anthem's sales and contracts divisions, as well as working to develop and maintain close relationships with the key players in every market that Anthem operates in.
